I picked up the reMarkable because I was tired of having my notes scattered across a bunch of apps, especially ones with ads or weird tracking stuff. After using it recently, it’s been a nice change. It feels clean, quiet, and way less distracting than what I was using before.

What I’ve liked most so far is having more control over where my notes live. I can keep things mostly local if I want, and when I do use syncing, it doesn’t feel like a hassle. The privacy settings are straightforward too, which I really appreciate because I don’t want to dig through a maze just to understand what’s going on.

I’m giving it 4 stars because, especially after looking at the cloud and data info again recently, I still think some of it could be explained in plainer language. But compared to what I was dealing with before, I definitely feel more in control of my notes now...

I actually like the product, so at least there’s that plot twist. I had an issue with my order and support did get back to me, but not exactly at lightning speed. I had to wait longer than I expected and send a follow-up, because apparently patience is part of the package. To be fair, they did help in the end, so it wasn’t a disaster, just slower than I’d hoped.

I really wanted to like this, but it’s just not as comfy as I hoped. The screen is fine, I guess, but after reading for a while my eyes still feel tired. What’s frustrating is the return policy has all these little loopholes, so it feels like they can say it qualifies as used or not covered depending on the situation. Annoying when the whole reason I bought it was to make reading easier.

I mostly use my reMarkable for taking notes, so I don’t pay much attention to all the extra features. The handwriting recognition is the part I care about, and it works well for me. My handwriting is not exactly neat, but it still catches most of it correctly. Every now and then a word comes out totally wrong, which can be a little annoying, but overall it saves me enough time that I’m happy with it. Not perfect, but definitely useful. 4 stars.

I’ve dealt with warranty claims before that turned into a real hassle, so I was surprised how smooth this was. They sorted everything out really quickly and made the whole process easy.

I tend to notice little patterns with accessories, like flimsy stitching or loose fits usually showing up right away, but I’m not seeing that here. Both feel solid, fit well, and don’t have that cheap add-on vibe. Seems like they’ll hold up well.

I returned my reMarkable and, to be fair, the refund did come through in the end. So technically everything worked out, which is great if you enjoy refreshing your email and checking your bank app like it’s a new hobby.

Support wasn’t rude or anything, just not exactly in a hurry to keep me updated. Overall, I got my money back, but the whole refund process could definitely be faster and a little clearer. Crazy idea, I know.

I ordered from remarkable.com and, it arrived faster than I expected. The tracking was easy to follow, and the package showed up in good shape. No random delays, no damage, no hassle — which is really all you hope for when ordering something online. Happy with the whole experience...

Had to send it back. thought it might be a whole thing, but nope. Quick process, no weird back-and-forth, no hassle. Just packed it up, sent it off, done.

I’m picky about stuff just working with my usual files, and so far this has met my standard. PDFs and ebooks open without any hassle, and exporting my notes is straightforward enough. I haven’t run into any weird format issues yet, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

The screen is decent overall and I can read it fine most of the time, but it does get a bit hard to see in low light, haha. Not a dealbreaker, just something I noticed.

I do enjoy writing on this tablet, and it feels good for taking notes, but the battery has been a letdown. It drains faster than I expected, even when I’m only using it for a few hours a day. I’ve also left it in my bag for a couple days and come back to find the charge dropped more than it should have. For what I paid, I expected it to hold up better. It works, but now I’m constantly checking the battery, and after paying that much, it kind of makes me question whether I really got what was promised.

Pages pop open quickly and I haven’t hit any lag so far, which is a nice change from waiting around like it’s 2005.
